Hazel Place Photography captures moments with a whimsical touch, blending golden light and forest hues.

Hello, thank you for checking out my website and for trusting me to be your future photographer.
My photography journey:
I started doing 4-H at 9 years old showing animals. My older sister had a camera and I loved to steal it to take photos. After my first year showing I used the money I earned to buy my first digital camera. And every year I would use the money I earned to upgrade as time went on. Everywhere I went my camera went and I took pictures of anything and everything. This really helped me learn composition and to have a creative eye. It helped me see that even the small details can be huge in the right eyes. Once I hit my teen years I started entering 4-H photography competitions and won quite a few. I started taking a few classes taught by professionals and even shadowed under someone for a bit. I also started experimenting with editing in high school and have been improving ever since, there’s always so much more to learn. Photography has always been a huge part of my life and it’s how I show the world my creative skills. I am always open to a challenge and experimenting with new things so I am always open to any different photography styles. But I have a special heart for boudoir especially in nature, I think the divine feminine and nature go hand in hand. My love for nature also reflects with the photos I take. I also have been taking photos of pets since I was a kid, anything from chickens to horses I’ve done it all and I love every second! I love capturing magic and sharing it with the world.
